2 days Fes to desert
DAY 1 : FEZ – MEDILT – ERRACHIDIA – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA.
Our Morocco desert trip 2 days Fes to the desert, Will start from your location in Fes. In the morning we travel to Ifrane, called the Switzerland of Morocco Due to its amazing atmosphere and nature, also the shape of its building is completely western style. There we will stop for a short time to enjoy the beauty of the city and then continue our desert Merzouga trip. We also stop in the cedar forest at the small village of Azrou where we may have an opportunity to see the app’s monkey and amazing views of Cedar trees. Then our 3 days trip will continue to Midelt where you will have Lunch.
After lunch, we will continue to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You will be traveling through the fascinating Tizi Ntalghamt pass. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia.
Afterward, you will drive along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. In the late afternoon then we prepare for a desert camel ride. We will be guided by an experienced desert camel guide to cross the magic dunes of Merzouga, and we explore sand dunes. Before we reach Merzouga desert camp we will have time to enjoy the wonderful sunset and colorful sand dunes, then we continue to the camp. Dinner will be served at the camp. During your stay in the desert camp, you will be able to explore the magic of the desert silence and wonderful views of golden sand dunes and the sun. You will enjoy Berber music and we stay this night in a Berber desert tent in Merzouga Sahara.
Day 2: MERZOUGA – FES.
Today our 2 days Fes to desert will continue back to Fes. After sunrise and camel trek over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will meet your driver/guide and start driving to Fes. You will be crossing the Ziz Valley through Errachidia which is the capital of the Tafilalet region.
We continue to Midelt. There we will have lunch at leisure before we keep driving across the Middle Atlas Mountains. You will drive along with the Cedar Forests and Berber towns of Imouzzer and Ifran. Which are both famous as winter ski resorts for Moroccans. We arrive at Fes late in the afternoon. Your 2 days desert tour from Fes will end with a drop-off at your Fez hotel or riad.
